This year’s show felt especially meaningful as I approach two years with the Seafood Industries Association Singapore (SIAS).

With my background in design and exhibitions, I have always enjoyed contributing ideas and seeing them come to life through trade shows. Since joining SIAS, I have had the opportunity to coordinate several trade shows, business missions and industry activities.

Much of the work happens quietly behind the scenes, so it was especially rewarding to see the Singapore Pavilion come together and our participating members connect, strengthen relationships and explore new opportunities.

These experiences have also helped me understand how industry associations can bring businesses, government agencies and international partners together, and how these connections can contribute to a more resilient food supply.

I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to making SEA26 possible, and for the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and meet more people across the industry.

There is still so much for me to learn. I look forward to deepening my industry knowledge, building stronger relationships and continuing to grow so that I can contribute even more in the years ahead.
